North Star Blacksmithing was set up in 2016 by Asher Collins. Having a lifelong love of designing and making I always look forward to lighting the forge and starting a new project.

Being born and brought up in Cheltenham I’ve been honoured to work across the town restoring and crafting Cheltenham’s iconic wrought iron railings and gates. Further afield I’ve worked on grade one listed buildings
with heritage partners such as the National Trust as well as collaborating on bespoke
interiors with designers like Sims Hilditch.

Outside of our architectural metalwork I’m very proud of the smaller pieces North Star designs and makes in our Cotswold forge. I’m very confident we make the best firepits in the UK, they’re certainly the heaviest! For the current range please see our shop.

The idea behind North Star Blacksmithing is to make beautifully crafted items that will last generations, we believe that if you make something right, you'll only have to make it once.
