At North Star Blacksmithing we take pride in crafting architectural metalwork that both looks stunning today and lasts for generations. Our small team of smiths have decades of metalwork experience and a degree in Architecture meaning we have the skills to see every commission through from design through to fabrication and installation.

Historic and Listed Buildings
We’ve been honoured to work on numerous heritage projects including grade 1 listed churches and both English Heritage and National Trust Properties. With a wide range of traditional metalwork techniques at our disposal we can repair or recreate heritage ironwork for the generations to come.
Railings and Gates
We design and forge our work to ensure it fits seamlessly into its surroundings. Whether traditional or contemporary we can fit with your property and style.

Interiors
Handrails, Balustrades and more all finished to the high standards required of interior work. Clients include Sims Hilditch and Cheltenham College. All designed and made in our Cotswold workshop.

We also turn our hand to more contemporary work. The same high quality only with a modern finish.
Design
With a degree in Architecture in our small team we have the skills to take each of our designs from initial sketches through to the finished piece.
